The Apparel Export Promotion Council is the most important nodal agencies under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India for promotion of apparel exports. The Council organizes international garment fairs in India in alliance with four major Garment Exporters' Associations since 1988. The fair, displaying Autumn/Winter Collections is held during the month of January and for that of Spring/Summer Collections, in July, every year.

48 IIGFs have been successfully held so far in the past 26 years. The 33rd edition of Asia largest Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair (IHGF), the four-day-long flagship event of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), will get underway from February 18 at the world class venue of India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Expressway, NCR, New Delhi.

This is Asia's largest gifts & handicrafts trade fair. This journey to gifts trade fair in India will see you exploring 97,000 sq. mts. exhibition area featuring products of 1800 exhibitors and home furnishing textiles loaded with fresh new merchandising and you can import gifts and handicrafts from India. These gifts and handicrafts import ideas are such which will help you set trends, generates sales, create business opportunities and ensure success in India.

The IHGF-Spring 2012 will have over 2300 exhibitors from 28 States of India covering gross area of 100,000 sq. mtrs, displaying around 950 product lines, designs, styles, raw material base and concepts etc. Overseas buyers from more than 30 countries are expected to visit this fair, according to Arvind Vadhera, Chairman of the Council.
